- Elevating assessment skills using kinesiology and palpation: Lower leg muscles
- Students will list movements of the lower leg
- Students will identify the origins, insertions and actions of the lower leg muscles
- Students will lead partner through lower leg muscle movements
- Students will identify dysfunction and abnormalities in movement and palpation of the lower leg muscles
- Elevating assessment skills using kinesiology and palpation: Lower leg muscles 3 CEs
- By the end of class, students will demonstrate knowledge of the kinesiology of the area of the body (hip, lower leg, arm, trunk, neck, head and face and shoulder) that is the focus of that class. They will lead partner/client through muscle movements to assess variations in subject’s movement and palpate the muscles of the area of the body discussed. Class will discuss modifications of treatment plans resultant of findings during palpation and kinesiology assessment.
